Delete your account

You can delete your Wayboard account, and everything in it, at any time. It can't be undone, so export your data first if you want a copy (Profile → Export my data).

In the app

1. Open Wayboard and go to Profile.
2. Tap Delete account, and confirm.

On the web

1. Sign in at wayboard.app with the same email, Google or Apple account you use in the app.
2. Open Profile, choose Delete account, and confirm.

By email

If you can't sign in, write to hello@wayboard.app from your account's email address and ask us to delete it. We answer within 30 days.

Delete some of your data, and keep your account

In the app or on the web, delete a trip or a list from its page, or a companion from Profile. It's gone from your account at once, and from our servers within 90 days.

What happens

• Your account, profile, companions, trips and lists are deleted, with the keys that encrypt them, and you're signed out on every device.
• Backups expire on a fixed schedule, and can't be read without those keys.
• The security log keeps a record of the deletion, with a coded form of your IP address, for 180 days at most.
• Deleting your account doesn't cancel a Premium subscription: cancel it where you bought it, in Google Play or in your iPhone's App Store settings.
